Miller School held its first full-day community Field Day today and it was amazing! Thank you to Mrs. Hannaford and the many parent volunteers, the children and staff had so much fun and this would not have been possible without your support.
On Thursday children attended the presentation
Bubbleology and were completely mesmerized
while the presenter created bubbles in all shapes and sizes.
He even made a bubble and placed a toy dinosaur inside.
Later in the show he asked for a student volunteer.
Katherine found herself inside a bubble rainbow!
Ask your child all about it!
Check out our new welcome sign in the school lobby! The signs were created by parents at home and at school. Each is beautiful and unique and together present an opportunity to celebrate our school's rich diversity and provide an opportunity to teach language, culture and understanding.
thank you everyone!
Today first graders in Mrs. Newman's class harvested three big bowls of pea shoots from the courtyard raised beds.
Mrs. McGonigle will be serving these in salads next week. Thank you Mrs. Navas for coming in to help with the harvesting.
Thank you to the parents, students, teachers and community members who supported our annual Celebration of Community Night. It was a beautiful night full of music, dancing, poetry, food and friends!
Ask your child all about their museum tour. Over the past week second graders have been visiting classrooms across the second grade team to learn about the continents. Check out the slide show below!
On Sunday, April 9 children and parents of Cub Scout Pack 95 raked and mulched the school grounds. The school looks beautiful!!
