Miller teachers have been discussing ways to increase opportunities for collaboration and will soon begin Instructional Rounds. Instructional rounds are small groups of teachers visiting classrooms with an instructional target in mind. The class visits provide an opportunity for shared learning, discussion of best practices and a chance for teachers to observe what is happening down the hall or in another grade level. I am excited by the idea of teachers sharing their expertise with peers and also at how this may positively impact our school culture so that we truly are, or will be, a culture of learning.
