Today Sathvik, Chiara, Mia and Liliana were our principals for the morning. They heard some great stories read aloud in kindergarten classrooms, in wellness second graders were completing an obstacle course, and observed lots of great learning going on! What a beautiful evening last night!
Thank you to Mrs. McDermott and the teachers on the celebration of community planning committee, without your hard work this event would not be possible. Thank you to all the families who were able to attend, contribute to the delicious meal and support your children through music and dance lessons. The student performances were fantastic, Miller School really has talented students!
Today Patricia, Julia, Ellie, Eva and I had so much. They got to see their siblings in other classes and helped first grade with a super fun writing assignment.

I enjoyed spending this morning with Benjamin Anderson, Maeve Sullivan, Christina Sherry and Kendall Kulesza. They took the role very seriously and took copious notes of what was happening in each classroom we visited.
The next principals of the morning will be Abuk, Brooke, Charlotte and Jaden.
Thank you to Mrs. Johnson and her students for planting lettuce and kale seeds in our courtyard raised vegetable beds on Friday. It was a beautiful day to spend a few minutes outside and the children did a great job! We look forward to bringing the fresh produce to Mrs. McGonigle soon. The students are excited to have salad grown in the courtyard.

Today Vir, Anneleen and Nidhi were principals for the morning. We visited several kindergarten classrooms and saw them using different techniques for handmade papers for their Eril Carle project, in first grade all classrooms were doing Daily Five and in second grade they saw Mrs. Bertolami leading a discussion on how to use a graphic organizer for writing. This week second graders toured the continents visiting museum displays across the grade two classes. Check out the excellent work done by students and the smiling faces!
