A huge thank you to the Miller PTO and the many parent volunteers who planned this special event for our children. Students enjoyed running laps around school, learning a new dance inspired by Disney's movie Ice Age, relaxing and practicing mindfulness in the yoga room and exploring the Ninja Obstacle Course in the gym. Each station was designed and facilitated by parent volunteers. While Race for Education serves as an important fundraiser for our school, it also provides a wonderful afternoon for our children in celebration of fitness and learning.
On Tuesday, November 6 children's book author and illustrator Salina Yoon shared her children's books. She did two presentations in the afternoon for students across grades K-2 and each presentation included student participation, drawing, singing and movement. Ask your child all about this.
Your generous donations to the PTO supports incredible experiences such as this. Thank you!
Lots of smiles at Miller on Wednesday! Mrs. Lampros and Mrs. Clermont were welcoming our paraders back into the school with fun music like the Monster Mash and Ghost Busters. The children were laughing and dancing while they showed off their awesome costumes.

I had the pleasure of spending the morning with Elena Troiano, Anna O'Donnell and Isaiah Perez today. We visited many classrooms and were excited to learn a new morning greeting. In a kindergarten class children acted out an animal and the other students had to guess,
a sort of animal charades. It was super cute to see the little ones acting as hawks, giraffes, cats and dogs. Our principals also enjoyed visiting their kindergarten and first grade teachers.

We had a wonderful time Tuesday evening at the pre-first, grade 1 Math & Science Night. I extend a very special thank you to Mrs. Burke who created the activities for this event and to all the parent volunteers who helped with set up and clean up. The children and parents had a great time! Congratulations to Olivia Brewer and Griffin Hoffman, they had the closest estimate of the number of letters in the jar. Each guessed 300, and were off by just 20, nice job!
We had a great time last night at our annual Dance for a Cause and raised $400.00 for the Westford Food Pantry, plus a large quantity of food items. It was such fun watching the children do the limbo, chicken dance and conga line. We had two student volunteers from Blanchard Middle School who spent the night taking pictures and helping the children Thank you everyone!.
The children have been patiently watching the District maintenance staff install the new swings on the grade 1 and 2 playground - and today their patience is rewarded. The installation is complete!
A very big thank you to the maintenance team, our PTO, and the generosity of our wonderful parent community, without your support this would not have happened. Check out the happy faces below!
On Wednesday I had the pleasure of spending the morning with Ansh, Tori, Alethea and Ben. They helped to prepare spaces in the courtyard garden for the grade 2 kindness rocks and we visited many classrooms together.
On Monday family, friends and teachers of our second graders were treated to an amazing performance!
Each class selected a different country and the children sang songs and shared interesting facts. I am so very proud of our second graders.
Today Lily, Rachael and Norma were our principals for the morning. They were a big help with our fire drill and after visiting several grade one and kindergarten classrooms
we attended the Day School Orchestra Performance.
