Thanks so much to the many families who attended last night's math & science night. This year we offered several new science activities; make your own lava lamps, a color mixing activity with milk and dishwashing liquid and a real plaster volcano! It was wonderful to see parents and children having fun together! Congratulations to Jayden who guessed the closest to the number of marbles in the jar - He was only 20 marbles off - great estimating!
Today second graders had a special Arts & Education presentation by Animal Adventures. They learned about armadillos, porcupines, snapping turtles, lemurs and more. Ask you child all about it!
On Wednesday Tej, Henry and Sebastian were principals of the morning. We learned some really cool things about Miller School! Kindergarteners use Dreambox too, just like second graders and almost all classes were doing daily 5 - that means everyone was reading and writing at the same tie all through the school!
During the month of October, children planted seeds of kindness, love, friendship, respect and caring during Miller Cares classes. Check out our beautiful garden!
What a beautiful day for a parade! This afternoon Miller friends transformed into super heroes, animals, witches, wizards, princesses and more. Even staff joined in the fun, as you can see by the photo of Ms. Travers and Ms. MacNeil!
Thank you to the many parents and family members who were able to attend and cheer us on form the sidelines! If you were unable to attend, check out the slide show below!
We had a great time at our second annual Miller & Day Halloween Party! This event represents a collaborative effort between Miller and Day PTOs and required so much organization and planning. In addition to the intense planning involved was the number of parent volunteers who hung decorations, ran games, manned the concession stand, played awesome dance music and supervised our excited students. Thank you to all for a great evening of fun!
